In his second magazine, Jan Philipp Kuhnert observes the changes in his life and the world in 2020. This magazine tries to document the effects 2020 had on our life. Auszeit (English: „time-out”) is structured into three chapters: Ruhezustand, Neustart and Veränderung. The chapters describe the change in our lives in 2020: from the abrupt stop in spring to the change of focus and reevaluating our intensions.
The magazine consists of 36 monochrome images shot on the beautiful Fomapan 400 film in 120 and 135 format. The photographs share an intimate and private view of the authors life in 2020 in various locations in northern Germany.
